        Dog Sledding

Dog Sledding has become a very popular activity here in the Upper Peninsula with many kennels offering adventure trips from a couple of hours to several days in length. They also have packages available. The season generally runs from December 1 thru April 30 depedant upon snow conditions, of course. Many outfitters and mushers race in several of the dog sled races both locally and the Alaskan Ididarod race in February and therefore may not be available at all times of the season.
