The cabin you’ll be renting has one or more double beds. Sheets, pillowslips and towels ARE NOT furnished. Sometimes the kids might like to snuggle up in sleeping bags at night, depending on if you have room to transport them.

As for food and supplies, staying at our resort somewhat resembles a camping trip if you’ve ever been on one. However, if you have never had to plan food for camping we usually tell people to plan their menu for the week, and then bring what they can for that particular meal. Usually on vacation you don’t eat huge meals, rather, smaller ones more frequently. We have a potluck weiner/hamburger bonfire one night of the week, so plan on that if you'd like to join us. Also, if' you do any traveling or sightseeing you may eat out. Of course, don’t forget to plan meals of fish to eat from what you’ll catch while you’re here! On your trip here, the last big towns you may go through (Escanaba, Manistique, or Munising) are the closest towns to us with supermarkets. We are 25 miles from two of those towns, and farther yet (60 miles) from the other one, so make sure you stock up with what you need! If by chance you forget something, there is a small store 4 miles down the road that will probably have what you need, but not near what the supermarkets will have.
