Brimley State Park
9200 West 6 Mile Road, Brimley, MI 49715; (906) 248-3422. The park features a 270-site modern campground with large, grassy campsites as well as a mini-cabin and a swimming beach on Lake Superior's Whitefish Bay. Brimley has the warmest swimming water of any state park located on the usually frigid Lake Superior. Anglers fish the bay for northern pike and walleye. A scenic view of the Canadian highlands can be seen to the north. Take 6 Mile Road one mile east of Brimley.
Trout Lake
Township Park offers a boat launch, camp sites, picnic areas, a ball diamond and ATV trails. The park has 83 camp sites, 60 with electric, a few right on the lakefront. Camping area has a shower house, dump station, and bathrooms. Open May 15 to Oct 15. No electricity or water after October 15th. Phone 906-569-3299.
