Kayak and Canoe Rentals

Uncle Ducky Outfitters and UP Michigan Boat Rentals in Marquette has a wide variety of kayaks and canoes for rental either for Lake Superior paddling or on the inland waterways.
If you would like to rent sea kayaks, and they have both single and tandem models, you will need to show proof of a safety training course or take one here. The safety training course is $65.00 and takes about 4-5 hours to complete. This is done only once.
If you do not want a sea kayak and would rather use a sit-on-top kayak then the safety training is not necessary. They do not perform as well but are great for carrying a load and also sunning. Sit- on- tops are also used for fishing.

Recreational kayaks are used for small lakes and rivers and are also available.

We will help you choose the boat that best fits your needs. We also have all the equipment you will need including wet suits, paddles, PFD’s, bilge pumps, paddle floats, etc. We also have trailers and car-top-carriers.

Canoes of 15’, 17’, and 19’ lengths are available. These are Old Town poly-link canoes.

There are many great places to kayak and canoe in the Upper Peninsula and we’ll be happy to assist you in finding a great spot for your adventure.
